Middleton Percherons are owned and shown by David and Chris Curtis with the help of the rest of our family and friends. David has been showing Percherons for over 25 years helping Owen Garner. The Show Dray is a Jersey wagon and came from the Isle of Sark, it dates from 1899 and was renovated by the Curtis family in 2004/5. The livery of the dray is in the Eastern Utility Services colours. EUS are specialist Overhead Line contractors who work for Electricity companies. EUS are the only contractor in England who can work on 11000 volt lines whilst they are alive using Hot Glove Techniques. David is a partner whilst Chris is a trainee. The horses pulling the Dray are Annie and Zeus both bred by Owen Garner.
