Society President

At the AGM on October 27 2009, the Chairman gave thanks to outgoing President, Dr Miles Frankel, for his contribution during his term of office. Mrs Jacqueline Henfrey was welcomed as the President for the coming year. Mrs Henfrey and her family are long standing Percheron breeders and exhibitors who have supported the Society for many years.

Stallion Day 2011

To be held at Gull Farm, Deeping High Bank, near Spalding Lincs on 6th March 2011. This event is designed to give anyone who is looking for a sire the opportunity to inspect them early in the season. The stallions will be on show and the owners will be on hand to answer any questions. The Society’s Stallion panel will award premiums to those that are eligible to go forward and are judged by them to be of sufficient merit. Anyone wishing to have their stallion licensed at this event must ensure they have a Veterinary Certificate prior to arriving. Full details on how to get your stallion licensed and the necessary forms can be obtained from the Society Secretary.

The stallion day is also a social day and is open to members and non-members. Donations of raffle prizes and auction items will be gratefully received.

2011 PERCHERON WORLD CONGRESS - FRANCE

The Societe Hippiqué Percheronne de France will be hosting the next Percheron World Congress. This is a three day event and will be held on 23rd, 24th and 25th September 2011.
